`Back once again with the DJ Promo mixes for 2013, and there’s a couple of small changes this year. First of all, I know I missed out on a January set so I’ve done a double mix for January / February (its a 2 hour plus affair).
Secondly, this is based on a set of mine recorded at the end of January for Giant at Avalon, Los Angeles, so that’s a little bit different than the usual studio mixes. I played early in the night so the mix starts a little deep.
Finally I thought I would experiment by giving you the track listing straight off the bat this time. I’ve always preferred to update the track listings sometime after the mix has been put up, to allow the music to speak for itself as it were, but at the same time a lot of you ask for me the tracks, and sometimes I’m a little later than I planned in updating them. Also, I want to support all the amazing newer producers music I’m playing and letting you straight away what they are is a better way to do it.
OK – that’s about it! Otherwise its the usual mix of new tunes, old tunes, new productions, special edits etc. All feedback, as always, is very welcome.` Paolo x
